ToolGuyd reports that Milwaukee’s 3494-23R M12 three-tool cordless combo kit has returned for the 2026 holiday shopping season at $199. A two-tool drill-and-driver kit is also reported at $149; current availability, retailer details and promotion end dates are not specified in the source.
Milwaukee’s M12 3494-23R three-tool combo kit is back for the 2026 holiday shopping season at a reported price of $199, according to tool-industry publication ToolGuyd. The kit bundles a compact drill, impact driver and cordless ratchet, offering shoppers a third tool for $50 more than the reported $149 two-tool promotion.
ToolGuyd says the package includes Milwaukee’s M12 compact brushless drill, a compact brushless impact driver and an older, brushed-motor 3/8-inch ratchet. The listed accessories are two compact 2Ah batteries, a charger and a tool bag. The report identifies the package as model 3494-23R and gives its special-buy price as $199.
The same report says a two-tool combo is also back at $149. That kit is presented as the lower-cost drill-and-driver option, although the source does not provide a full product listing or confirm every component included in that version. The $50 difference between the reported prices is the basis for ToolGuyd’s comparison of the two offers.
ToolGuyd describes the ratchet as an older brushed model, not one of Milwaukee’s newer M12 Fuel brushless ratchets. The publication says the newer tools offer more power or features, while characterizing the brushed ratchet as a value at the package’s implied $50 price difference. Those are the source’s product assessments; the report does not include independent performance testing or a detailed specification comparison.
A Ratchet for $50 More
The main choice for shoppers is whether the cordless ratchet justifies the reported $50 step up from the two-tool deal. Buyers who already have a use for a ratchet may find the three-tool bundle’s added tool and included batteries, charger and bag appealing. For someone who expects to use only a drill and impact driver, the $149 option avoids paying for equipment that may sit unused.
That distinction matters because the packages appear aimed at different needs, not simply different budgets. ToolGuyd says the included ratchet is brushed rather than Fuel brushless, so shoppers should not treat it as interchangeable with Milwaukee’s newer ratchets. The source considers the extra $50 a favorable value relative to buying a ratchet separately, but it does not supply a standalone retail price or a current comparison from a retailer.
The return of the promotion also gives shoppers a reported price point to compare with other holiday tool bundles. But the article does not confirm a specific seller, stock level or expiration date. Readers should check the current listing and exact kit contents before purchase, especially if they are comparing offers from different retailers.

What the Kit Includes
The report concerns a recurring holiday-season special buy, rather than a newly announced tool platform or a change to Milwaukee’s product line. ToolGuyd says the 3494-23R offer is back for the 2026 holiday season and notes that similar promotional combo kits often appear during the season. It advises readers there is no need to rush, but that is the publication’s general assessment of these deals, not a guarantee about this kit’s availability.
The kit combines two compact brushless tools with a brushed 3/8-inch ratchet. ToolGuyd says it prefers the ergonomics of the compact drill and driver to the M12 Fuel versions, while acknowledging they are less powerful. That preference is an opinion from the report, not a manufacturer specification. The source does not include detailed dimensions, torque ratings, battery runtime figures or a head-to-head test.
ToolGuyd also discloses that it may earn an affiliate commission if readers buy through its links. The disclosure is relevant when considering the publication’s value judgments. Its reported prices and kit details are the available factual basis here; the provided source does not include a retailer’s product page or a direct Milwaukee statement confirming the terms.

Price, Stock and Sale Dates
The source does not identify a retailer, link to a live listing in the supplied material, or state when the promotion ends. It also does not verify current stock, whether the quoted prices apply nationwide, or whether shipping, taxes or other conditions affect the final cost. The reported $199 and $149 prices should be checked against an active seller listing before purchase.
Some details of the two-tool offer remain unspecified, including its exact model number and full package contents. The report also does not provide a standalone price for the ratchet, so its claim that the three-tool bundle is a particularly strong value cannot be independently confirmed from the supplied information. Milwaukee has not been quoted directly in the source material.
Check the Live Offer
Shoppers considering either bundle should compare the current retailer listing with the reported $199 three-tool price and $149 two-tool price, then confirm the included batteries, charger, bag and ratchet model. They should also check availability and any sale end date, which the source does not provide.
ToolGuyd expects other promotional combo kits to appear during the holiday season, but does not name a schedule or guarantee that this particular offer will continue. The next useful confirmation would be an up-to-date seller listing or a direct Milwaukee announcement with current terms.
Key Questions
What tools are in the reported $199 Milwaukee M12 kit?
ToolGuyd lists a compact brushless drill, a compact brushless impact driver and a brushed-motor 3/8-inch ratchet, along with two 2Ah batteries, a charger and a tool bag.
What is the reported price of the two-tool option?
ToolGuyd says the two-tool combo is also back at $149. The source does not give a full component list or retailer details for that offer.
Is the included ratchet a Milwaukee M12 Fuel model?
No. The report describes it as an older brushed-motor 3/8-inch ratchet, and distinguishes it from newer M12 Fuel brushless ratchets.
How long will the special buy be available?
The supplied report does not state an end date or confirm stock levels. Check the current seller listing for availability and promotion terms.
